Weather Update: As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the northwest and eastern parts of India are likely to see active monsoon conditions. The IMD forecast says that Delhi will likely experience cloudy skies today, with ordinary to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. The most recent weather report for Mumbai indicates that there will be isolated areas of moderate rainfall throughout the city and suburbs over the next 24 hours.

The IMD has forecast that there will likely be isolated areas of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh(including Lucknow), West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya. The same is predicted for Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram,Tripura and Gujarat. Heavy rainfall has been reported in several locations across Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Goa, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka, according to the India Meteorological Department.

According to the Mumbai weather report, the meteorological service has forecast that the city would likely see a high temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. IMD forecasts thunderstorms and extensive rain over Patna and Kanpur.
